Thanks to the advancements of the internet, now we have the ability to stay connected all the time. Some people enjoy using microphones and web cams so they are able to see and hear the person they are instant messaging with. This is great for family members and friends who are living far apart, those who travel a lot or have to be separated.
Last, but certainly not least, social networking sites have become a great tool for staying connected. With these sites people are able to find old family members, friends, school mates and co-workers and get reacquainted with them. These sites let people to update what their current lives are like, allow them to upload videos, pictures and chat with their friends just by signing up to one of these sites.
